My love of graphite is very clear, it's very dense and I love experimenting with it and pushing it to its limits. 

I've developed a way of not only using it on different types of paper, I also use it on veneered wood. When the graphite is applied and polished it has a sheen to it so some of my series appear to look metallic. I also enjoy treating and deteriorating paper to give a range of textures.
